MEET MEGAN

Megan Boudreaux, at the age of 24, founded Respire Haiti, a non-profit to fight for the freedom of Haiti’s estimated 300,000 child slaves. After moving to Haiti in 2011, Megan followed God’s call to start a feeding program and transformed a barren hillside into a refuge including a school for 500 children, a medical clinic that includes mental health therapy, physical and occupational therapy as well as tennis and soccer programs. Megan is an advocate first and foremost for family preservation, she works diligently with the Haiti Family Care Network to educate individuals about the importance of children belonging in families and combating the crisis of orphanages by encouraging family reunification and family strengthening in Haiti.

Megan married her best friend, Joshua Anderson, in 2013. Together they have six children. As of 2020, Megan and Josh reside with their family in Louisiana.

For more information on Megan’s ministry visit respirehaiti.org.

Megan is beyond inspirational-she’s more like a gasoline torch placed next to a pile of good intentions! She will ignite your heart to a bigger, riskier kind of love.”
